Penny Weber
Penny Weber is a seasoned music business entrepreneur with a diverse career spanning artist management, music licensing, recruitment, and film. She has successfully managed a wide array of artists and projects.
Penny’s expertise extends beyond management—she has made significant contributions to music education and industry development. She has created and led a range of national and local programs, conferences, forums, masterclasses, workshops, and online seminars focused on business practices within the music industry.
Her leadership roles include serving as the Professional Development Manager at a music industry advisory body, Director of the Plug In Summit Digital Entertainment Program, and founder of the recruitment agency Cover Your Artz.
With a broad skill set in the creative industries, Penny has worked as an artist manager and arts administrator across the music, film, digital, and education sectors. Her experience includes collaborations with film composers, record labels, publishing houses as well as associations, venue bookers and entertainment companies. As a producer and music supervisor, she played a key role in the independent film Verite through Truncated Pictures.
Penny holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University, along with a Master of Business Administration (Executive) and a Master of Commerce from RMIT.
