Lecturer
Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the Victorian College of Arts as an improvising pianist and later, completed a Master of Music (Contemporary Practice) where a combination of research and collaboration with other sound artists resulted in a recording entitled Momentum: Sound Stories – based on a study on deep listening and observations of reoccurring themes in the local community.
Alongside over 20 years of experience in music education, Rebecca plays across various genres, in live performance settings and as a session recording musician. Rebecca has also directed and arranged music for choir and theatre. She currently enjoys sound-making and listening and sharing her knowledge with music students.
