Lecturer
Tim is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, producer, and educator with over 30 years of experience including fronting ARIA Award winning and multi-platinum selling band Taxiride. A jack of all trades, Tim has been a composer of music for ad campaigns, music director for live plays, announcer on commercial and community radio, movie reviewer, podcast producer and editor, and industry mentor.
Tim holds a Graduate Certificate in Creative Industries and has taught Music Production at Collarts since 2017. He has also worked with Music Performance ensembles, taught DJ techniques, Songwriting, Commercial Scriptwriting, Podcasting, and Logic Pro Production and Composition. "My approach to teaching is to enable my students to have a voice and to not fear failure".
Tim continues to perform around Australia and write and record original compositions.
