This May, two Bachelor of Music Production students from Collarts will embark on an enriching overseas study experience at the International Songwriter's Week (ISW) at Popakademie in Mannheim, Germany. Selected through a competitive application process, these students will gain an inspirational and memorable educational experience, collaborating with esteemed international songwriters in one of Europe’s top music institutions.
The International Songwriter's Week is a prestigious project run by Popakademie in partnership with German Music Publishing. During the program, the selected Collarts students will:
🎧 Collaborate in small teams to write, produce, and refine original songs.
🎤 Receive mentorship from world-class songwriters and producers.
🎼 Work with vocalists and instrumentalists from Popakademie’s degree programs to bring their compositions to life.
🎵 Pitch their songs to A&R representatives from numerous record labels.
🌍 Gain hands-on industry experience in a fast-paced, professional music environment.

This fully-funded scholarship is part of Collarts’ commitment to providing real-world industry experiences to its students.
