• Applicants must be at least 18 years old at course commencement.
• Successful completion of a senior secondary school certificate equivalent to Australian Year 12.
• English proficiency (see below).
• Applicants might have to attend an interview.

Our English requirement is an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with no single band score below 6.0) for all the courses except Entertainment Journalism, where students are required to have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with no single band score below 6.0)

Applicants may also provide the following as evidence of their English proficiency:

• Results of English subjects in a range of countries’ secondary school certificate, A Level or the International Baccalaureate. Please contact international@collarts.edu.au if you have any questions.
• Successful completion of an English course at any of our pathway providers.

You’ll need to supply the following documentation to support your application:

• A certified copy of transcripts and high school certificate (translated if necessary).
• English test results or alternative evidence of English proficiency.
• A certified copy of your passport.
• A current visa (if applicable).
• Satisfy the Genuine Student criteria (if applicable). Find out more here.

1. Apply online via the Apply Now button below. Soon afterwards, our International Team will contact you.
2. Organise and submit the requested documentation for your application, ensuring all details are correct.
3. Book and attend an interview and/or audition, where you will meet our friendly International Team.
4. If your application is successful, Collarts will issue a Letter of Offer.
5. To accept your offer, you must return a signed Student Agreement to receive an invoice.
6. Once your payment is received, Collarts will issue an Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE) as evidence of your enrolment.
7. Once you have your eCoE you must purchase your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
8. Once you have all the documents, apply for your student visa.
9. Congratulations! You're ready to start studying at Collarts.

Tuition assurance is provided through Tuition Protection Service (TPS), an Australian Government Scheme. Collarts has current coverage under the TPS.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) is an initiative of the Australian Government to assist international students accessing a VET Student Loan (VSL) or FEE-HELP loan, whose education providers are unable to fully deliver their course of study. The TPS ensures that these students are able to either:

• complete their studies in another course or with another education provider or;
• receive a refund of their unspent tuition fees (international students) or a re-credit of their loan for open units of study (VSL and HELP).

As an international student in Australia, you are required to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of your study in Australia.
