- Scholarship is likely to directly improve the student’s ability to commence their studies
- Support is expected to contribute to retention through the trimester
Readiness to commence and engage
- Student has progressed through admissions and is ready to commence study
- Student demonstrates intent and follow-through (enrolment confirmed)
Awarding approach
- Scholarships are limited and competitive.
- Awarded at the discretion of Collarts, based on priority need and impact.
- Recommended to apply a simple scoring rubric to ensure consistent assessment.
- Scholarships are intended to support students who may otherwise not commence without assistance.
Exclusions and conditions
- Scholarship applies to trimester 1 tuition fees only unless otherwise approved.
- One scholarship per student unless approved as an exception.
- Collarts reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship if the student withdraws prior to the census date.
